大潭無字碑 - 08/05/2005
無 字碑共兩座，南北相隔大潭港，遙遙相對。各高約七公尺，以石建構，呈方形，下有基座，共分六段。兩碑皆無刻字，故名為「無字碑」。 其一位於石碑山，可於石澳道沿廢徑直達。另一座則處白筆山（紅山半島）對下東南海涯，則需沿崖綑邊方可抵達。 相傳兩碑於二次大戰期間，乃為英國潛艇駐防大潭港之瞭望標誌。有云兩碑相對之中點，便是大潭港的之最深水處。蓋以大潭港水位淺露，難容潛艇駐防，此說未可 盡信。 是日行程十公里，前半段二星難度，後半因需沿崖綑邊，稍添難度，增為三星。 是次活動當到達紅山半島下石碑之時，忽然雷電交加，大雨磅砣。眾人像全身盡濕，有傘子 沒大幫助。
